If you’ve been paying attention to the latest in trading card and collectibles news, you’ve probably seen how the industry is shifting with new tech and record-breaking sales. (For a fresh look at PSA’s app update and what it means for collectors, check out here. That backdrop makes Steve Aoki’s PSA vault even more impressive—a curated collection that reads like a history book of pop culture and sports memorabilia.
Aoki’s vault isn’t just a storage unit; it’s a showcase of over 35,000 rare cards, vintage masterpieces, and high-value collectibles, all meticulously stored and organized. The collection features everything from vintage basketball and baseball cards to ultra-rare esports and entertainment memorabilia—each piece telling its own story. The total value? Well into the millions, with some of his most prized cards graded at PSA 10 and worth six figures alone.
And maintaining that level of preservation requires serious planning. Beginning in December 2024, a dedicated team of over 20 operations specialists embarked on moving nearly 400 boxes—more than 7,000 pounds of slabs—more than 2,700 miles across five pallets. Every card was carefully scanned and cataloged, with the entire collection stored in a climate-controlled environment behind torch-and-tool Class 3 UL-Rated doors. The vault is fully insured and protected 24/7 by security professionals, ensuring every piece remains safe and pristine.

What sets Aoki’s collection apart isn’t just its focus on rarity, but the discipline and passion it takes to maintain such a treasure trove. It’s the kind of vault that makes collectors drool, with cards graded to perfection, often encased in PSA slabs that speak to their value and authenticity.
